Izumi Uchiha: The tragedy Itachi need

Izumi Uchiha was a Konoha kunoichi and a member of the Uchiha clan. She had been a friend of Itachi Uchiha since their childhood, and had feelings for him.

In the first saga, Izumi has very short, tomboy-like black hair and wears the usual Uchiha clan clothes,  her left eye is purple and her right eye is black.

In Shippuden, Izumi have very long black hair {180cm long} and wear normal ninja clothes.

Izumi saw her father sacrifice himself to save her and her mother during the Nine-Tailed Fox attack, which awakened her Sharingan. Later, Izumi and her mother returned to the Uchiha clan, which was forced to relocate to the outskirts of Konoha. She met Itachi shortly after their enrolment at the Academy and developed a loving feeling for him, but he ignored her.

When Itachi was bullied by classmates who accused the Uchiha of being responsible for the Nine-Tailed Fox attack, Izumi defended him and showed him her Sharingan and how she awakened it. Izumi graduated from the Academy at eleven, a year early, which allowed her to spend more time with Itachi. While they were in a tea store, Izumi told him she wanted to become a strong ninja to protect others from hatred, but Itachi hurt her by telling her she was weak and too innocent.

When the Uchiha clan fell, Itachi came to her to start the slaughter with her, as Danzō Shimura told him he could only spare his younger brother Sasuke Uchiha. Believing that by ending her life first, he could assuage his inner doubts, he began by killing her and her mother. As he lured his mother away, Itachi approached Izumi and placed her in an extremely powerful Tsukuyomi, where she lived out her entire life in 0.000000001 billionths of a second. In her dream, she became a chūnin, retired from shinobi life to become Itachi’s wife and raise their children, and lived to be eighty before dying of old age at Itachi’s side.

Having her mind drifted so far from reality, Izumi collapsed in Itachi’s arms as she died. Izumi thanked Itachi for giving her the life she wanted with him, even if it was only a dream, and Itachi thanked her for loving him when he died.

Izumi was considered a kind and caring girl. She blamed herself deeply for her father’s death, and decided to become a great shinobi so she could help other ninjas like her father. It was thanks to this healthy motivation that she never fell into spirals of hatred unlike other members of her clan like Itachi or Shisui for example.
Her desire was such that she blamed herself for not progressing as quickly as Itachi to become a better ninja.

She was convinced that the attack by the nine-tailed fox, Kurama, was not the fault of an Uchiha.

Izumi was very much in love with Itachi, at least to accept that he would kill her without putting up any resistance.
