408 - Fukasaku's Proposal

Somewhere inside Kumogakure (Hidden Village in the Clouds),
Suigetsu presses a Cloud shinobi against a chain link fence and demands
that he tell him where the Eight-Tails is. The shinobi
refuses to answer and declares that no one in the Yotsuki Clan will
ever betray their comrades. Suigetsu is about to choke the
ninja even harder when Sasuke walks up draped in an
Akatsuki robe and states that weaknesses will always appear in a
fearful heart. He activates the Mangekyou Sharingan in his
left eye and places the ninja in a genjutsu. Suigetsu
complains that he was just starting to have fun tormenting the guy and
lets Sasuke handle it. The Cloud shinobi is in a state of
hypnosis and reveals that the Jinchuuriki with the Eight-Tails sealed
inside him is training at a place called the Lightning Cloud Gorge, and
that he carries eight swords and has easily recognizable
tattoos on his body. Having obtained what he came for, Sasuke
leads his team towards their next destination.
Back in Konoha, Naruto turns over the deciphered code to
Fukasaku and asks if it makes any sense to him. Fukasaku
remembers what Jiraiya had said during the fight against
Pein. Jiraiya was sure that none of the six bodies he fought
was Nagato‘s. But because Pein knew about the
conversation that Jiraiya had with only Nagato long ago, Jiraiya feels
that Nagato must be present in someway. However, Fukasaku
still believes Jiraiya’s code to be too vague for them to
come up with any conclusions. Fukasaku believes that Pein is
an enemy who’ll come back again and again no matter how many
times he is killed. A way to defeat him must be
hidden in the meaning of Jiraiya’s code.
Kakashi asks how the other sources of information
are coming along. Sakura explains that both the interrogation
and autopsy will take more time. Naruto becomes impatient
about the slow progress, but
Sakura sternly tells him that they must take their time in analyzing
what Jiraiya has provided them. Tsunade comments that the
autopsy may take a week at least, but points out that it will proceed
faster than usual because Shizune is in charge. Naruto says
he is going to go down there and tell them to hurry up.
Sakura tells him not to  interfere,
but Naruto declares that he will get revenge for Jiraiya and will not
wait around doing nothing.
Fugasaku triggers Naruto’s anger when
he points out that the fact that the code is deciphered has nothing to
do with Naruto. He believes that, in Naruto’s
current state, he is no match for someone like Pein. He tells
Naruto to come with him to the Strange Tree Mountain to learn the Sage
Arts the same way Jiraiya had done so. Though, he
warns
Naruto that the training would be harsher than anything he could
imagine. Naruto replies that if Jiraiya can do it, then
there’s no way he can fail either. Fukasaku smile
and thinks to himself how odd that an apprentice has handed down the
child of prophecy.
At the Lightning Cloud Gorge, a monstrous shape
slithers in the darkness of the cavern. The shape slowly
begins shrinking until it reverts back into the shape of a
human. A moment later, a dark skinned man steps outside. He
has eight swords strapped to his back and complains about it being so
bright even though he is wearing shades. He is the Eight-Tails
Jinchuuriki.
